| ASHLEY TISDALE--HEADSTRONG Ashley's debut album, "Headstrong" is a good album, but it's very much alike to all of the other singers we listen to. Nothing really special. Just the boring same thing. Techno-pop. Yep. Shocker isn't it? Tisdale's best songs are "So Much for You," "Goin' Crazy," "Not Like That," and more to name. Her vocals sometimes sounds like she's singing through her nose, which isn't a very pleasant sound, while her lyrics are sometimes semi-sexual. It's an ok album. | AVRIL LAVIGNE--THE BEST D**N THING
Avril's bratty and mean girl side is shown in her latest album. All of the songs are either very sexual or poorly written. Although "Girlfriend" sounds like a neat pop song, it's actually just covered in hateful remarks and some uncalled language. All of Avril's songs have a bad message or a bad word invovled, except for "Keep Holding On," which was created for the movie, Eragon. This cd is NOT worth buying, and it's complete trash!! Unless, of course, you like bad music and bad language.

| MY DECEMBER--KELLY CLARKSON
Kelly Clarkson's third album, "My December" displays Kelly's beautiful vocals, as well as some poorly written lyrics. This album is definitely Clarkson's weakest one, although it's still not a bad cd. The best songs are "Never Again," "Haunted," and "Judas." Kelly's look is fine, but it looks very similar to Evanescence's look. Ecspecially with the red dress. At least Clarkson hasn't switched to techno/pop like every other artist out there! This album is worth buying, if you like pop/rock and Ms. Clarkson.

| INSOMNIATIC--ALY AND AJ
Aly and A.J. have never been my favorite singers. BUT, I've always liked their music alright. This album is VERY different from their other albums. It's more techno-pop sounding like Hilary Duff's music. I feel that they've turned out to be like every other singer by doing this. It seems as if every singer has turned from pop to techno-pop, which is what Aly and A.J. have exactly done with their new "look." Don't get me wrong, the album is enjoyable, but I feel like the music is not that very good, although it's my favorite album of theirs'. The music is satisfying, although at times boring and not much to it. The album is ok, but certainly not great.

| THE OPEN DOOR--EVANESCENCE
Although, Evanescence is a metal group, they seem to get hard metal in their latest album, "The Open Door." Amy Lee sings beautifully, like always, although you can't understand what she's saying in some of the songs. "Fallen" was a much better album, although this album is fine. Evanescence gets harsher in this album, talking about rape in the song, "Snow White Queen," like how they did in the song, "Haunted" causing much chills to the listener. Indeed, Lee decided to get darker in all of their songs such as, "Sweet Sacrafice," "Weight of the World," "Lacrymosa," and "The Only One." Overall this cd is worth buying, if you like hard metal music with some pretty good lyrics.
1. Sweet Sacrafice--8/ An ok start to the album. Could have been better
2. Call Me When You're Sober--9/A very good song with some great lyrics
3. Weight of the World--9/A very good metal song
4. Lithium--9/A dark song with melancholy feel to it
5. Cloud Nine--9/Very strange but good
6. Snow White Queen--6/I particularly don't like the lyrics with what it's referring to
7. Lacrymosa--8/Also very strange but good
8. Like You--7/Kind've boring
9. Lose Control--8/Lose control over this song!
10. The Only One--8/Ok, but not great
11. Your Star--9/ A very good song
12. All that I'm Living For--10/ Probably the best song on the album
13. Good Enough--7/ A pretty good way to end this album, although it could've been better.
